Jake Gyllenhaal finding compassion beneath his cockiness in "Love and other drugs"

“Love and other drugs” contains a savage indictment of the drug industry. Reps are shown sabotaging one another, even procuring women to get in good with certain physicians. One doctor delivers an angry monologue about TV drug advertising that emboldens patients to dictate to doctors what sort of medication they should take. A drug rep training session (Jamie is sleeping with the mature but beautiful instructor, natch) is steeped in cynicism — nothing matters but the sale.
Late in the film, when things get dramatically serious, Jamie attends an orgy where he pops a tablet of Viagra (sales of which are making him rich) and ends up in the ER with an erection that won’t say goodbye. It’s the wrong joke at exactly the wrong moment in the film.Gyllenhaal has rarely been better, finding compassion beneath Jamie’s self-serving cockiness. Hathaway (who played his unloved wife in “Brokeback Mountain”) exudes an eroticism we’ve never seen while carefully balancing defiance and self-pity.

"After the premiere of the romantic comedy on Monday night, champagne connoisseur Moet and Chandon held a super-swish do at The Mint, inside historic Macquarie St barracks near Hyde Park.

"When people get married, the vows say 'in sickness and in health', and these are the questions that a real relationship needs to ask," says Gyllenhaal, suddenly becoming serious. "You need to have the courage to ask them.""I wouldn't want to date a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control" - Taylor Swift talks about her preferences at dating (Glamour magazine)

Gyllenhaal has been officially single - although there have been recent reports linking him to almost-21-year-old country singer Taylor Swift.
But while the actor is not ready to go public with whatever is happening in his private life, he's clearly ready to move on.
"Would I describe myself as a romantic? Yes, yes I would. What else is anyone supposed to be? How can you be in a relationship and not be a romantic?" Source: www.heraldsun.com.au

I prefer Jake with Anne than Taylor, Anne looks more funny, Taylor seems a little girl!
